Building your Lead Generation Form

NovaSupport's Lead Builder helps you create forms that convert visitors into qualified leads without disrupting the conversation flow.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to Leads → Lead Builder in your dashboard.
  2. Click Create New Form.
  3. Give your form a descriptive name.

Adding Fields

Choose from built-in field types:

  • Name: Capture the visitor's name.
  • Email: Required for follow-up communication.
  • Phone: For sales or support calls.
  • Company: B2B lead qualification.
  • Custom: Create any field you need.

Form Placement

Decide where your form appears:

  • Inline: Naturally within the conversation.
  • Popup: As a modal overlay.
  • Pre-chat: Before the conversation starts.

Triggering Rules

Smart triggers improve conversion rates:

  • After N messages: Wait until engagement is established.
  • On specific topics: When discussing pricing, demos, etc.
  • Exit intent: Capture leaving visitors.

Best Practices

  1. Keep it short: 2-3 fields have the highest conversion.
  2. Offer value: Give something in return (demo, quote, resource).
  3. Be transparent: Explain how you'll use their information.
